§ 56. Miss Baconasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps he proposes to take to implement the Report of the Working Party on the Organisation of the Prison Medical Service.
§ Mr. BrookeAs I informed the hon. Member for Barons Court (Mr. Compton Carr) in my Answer on 23rd April, I have accepted all the Working Party's recommendations in principle, subject to consultation with the interests concerned. This consultation is now proceeding, and the review of the needs of prison service establishments recommended in the Report will begin shortly.
