HC Deb 04 May 1964 vol 694 c122W
Mr. Rankin

asked the Minister of Labour whether he will submit forthwith to a committee of investigation any industrial dispute which he has previously referred to an industrial court but in respect of which an appeal has subsequently been made to the High Court by one of the interested parties so circumventing the Minister's decision.

Mr. Godber

No. It would not be appropriate, once I have referred a matter to the Industrial Court for settlement, to refer it to another body for inquiry or investigation.
