§ Mr. Maxwell-Hyslopasked the Minister of Health whether his Department has investigated the suitability of the ultra-sonic aid for the blind for enabling blind persons the better to detect the presence of obstacles in their path, and thereby increase their capacity for independent movement; and whether he will make a statement concerning the availability of this equipment by prescription under the National Health Service.
