§ Mr. Boydenasked the Minister of Education if he will take steps to encourage local education authorities to organise consortia for the bulk buying of school equipment such as radio and television sets and scientific apparatus.
§ Sir E. BoyleI encouraged the setting up of the existing consortia of authorities concerned with scientific apparatus and kitchen equipment where there appeared to be a need for new design and development work. I doubt whether there would be any advantage in relation to radio and television sets or other items of equipment.
