§ 70. Mr. George Craddockasked the Minister of Transport, if, in view of the large number of fatal road accidents over the Whitsun holiday, he will now advise the appointment of a Royal Commission to examine the causes of road accidents and make recommendations accordingly.
§ Mr. MarplesNo. I remain of the opinion that a Royal Commission would not be the appropriate way to deal with this continuing and most serious problem.
