§ Mr. CorfieldDay nursery matrons and nursery staff employed by local authorities are already covered by the Local Government Superannuation Act, 1937. A proposal by the Royal College of Nursing that the Act should be amended to accord to these grades an earlier age of retirement has, at my right hon. Friend's suggestion, been put by the College to the local authority associations for their views. I understand that the associations are still considering it.
