§ 11. Mr. Elwyn Jonesasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what action he is taking to review the remuneration of clerks to the General Commissioners of Taxes, in view of the widespread dissatisfaction among them by reason of the inadequacy of their remuneration and the difficulty that is likely to be encountered in recruiting suitably qualified new staff.
