§ 69. Mr. Wainwrightasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will now reconsider his decision not to make a special grant to those local authorities who will install central heating in bungalows built for aged people.
§ Mr. CorfieldNo, my right hon. friend does not think a special grant is called for. All local authorities are encouraged to provide some form of central heating for old people and many of them are doing so. The normal housing subsidies are of course available.
