Mr. Boydenasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will now permit the building of old people's bungalows in those category four villages in the Bishop Auckland constituency where there is a reasonable expectation that the villages will still be in existence in 20 years time.
§ Mr. CorfieldApplications for permission to build old people's bungalows in these villages would be for the county council to consider in the first place. The hon. Gentleman will be aware of their policy in this matter and of my right hon. Friend's general support for it.
