§ 53. Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what aid is being given by his Department to the new University of Basutoland, the Bechuanaland Protectorate and Swaziland.
§ Mr. SandysUp to £150,000 will be provided under the Colonial Development and Welfare Acts towards the University's recurrent budget up to March, 1966; and additional grant in aid is being provided to the three High Commission Territories to enable them to contribute a further £78,000 a year.
