§ Mr. Boydenasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs how many local housing authorities, following the issue of Circular 42/62, have indicated that they do not propose to undertake improvement schemes for streets or larger areas.
§ Mr. CorfieldLocal authorities were asked what action they proposed in order to obtain better progress with improvements. Of the reports received, about 3 per cent. indicated positive resistance to doing anything to stimulate the rate of improvement.
