§ Mr. A. LewisQ.16. asked the Prime Minister on what date he received a communication; from the National Farmers' Union concerning incomes of farmers; what was the text of this communication; and what was the nature of his reply.
§ The Prime MinisterThe President of the National Farmers' Union wrote to me on 29th January to bring to my attention the resolution on farm incomes which had been adopted at the union's annual general meeting. The letter has been acknowledged, and farm incomes will of course be one of the main matters discussed in the Annual Review consultations which start next week.
