asked the Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development if he will list the annual quotas for china and earthenware tableware in current agreements with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the other Socialist countries of Eastern Europe for export and import, respectively.

We have a quota of £15,000 for the importation of United Kingdom china and earthenware into the U.S.S.R. for the 18 months ending 30th June, 1964. There are no specific quotas for the importation of china and earthenware into other Eastern European

In addition we allow a quota of £100,000 for the importation of table and fancy pottery (including not more than £65,000 of ornamental ware) from East Germany under the trade arrangements made by the Federation of British Industries.
