§ Mr. Boxasked the Secretary of State for Wales what plans he has for speeding up the provision of the Eastern Avenue by-pass at Cardiff.
§ Mr. James GriffithsCardiff City Council is responsible for the detailed design including the preparation of draft orders under Sections 7 and 9 of the Highways Act, 1959. These draft orders should be ready for publication by next July. It is too soon to say whether it would be practicable for work to be started earlier than 1967–68 as at present planned.
