§ Mr. A. Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will, before the General Election, take powers to enable polling cards to be sent out by the returning officers at all municipal elections, in a similar manner to that operating for Parliamentary elections.
§ Mr. WoodhouseNo. It has hitherto been accepted that the value of the issue of poll cards at local government elections would not justify the additional work and expense entailed. There seems to be no ground for changing this view.
