§ Mr. NobleThe total rate burden per head of population in Scotland in 1962–63 was approximately 7s. 2d. per week, or 161W 2.5 per cent. of the average weekly earnings of adult male manual workers at April, 1962. The corresponding figures for England and Wales were 6s. 10d, per week arid 2.2 per cent.
