HC Deb 26 March 1963 vol 674 cc148-9W
Mr. Wolrige-Gordon

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what aid programmes are being considered to improve the economy of the North-East of Scotland.

Mr. Noble

Part of the £20 million supplementary capital investment described in my Reply of 14th March to my hon. Friend the Member for Edinburgh, South (Mr. Clark Hutchison) will benefit the north-east, particularly Aberdeen, for example the building of three ferry ships by Hall Russell and development of the new teacher training college.
