asked the Minister of Defence how many casualties have occurred among British Servicemen on active service in Oman during the last two years.

Since January, 1961, 1 R.A.F. officer seconded to the Air Force of the Sultan of Muscat and Oman has been injured in an aircraft accident. Deaths and injuries to other British Service personnel in the area were 2 Army other ranks killed by lightning, and 1 other rank killed and 2 injured, in mine accidents.
