§ 22. Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the President of the Board of Trade what consideration he gives, in stimulating exports, to the import content of various export lines; and what special encouragement 178W Her Majesty's Government gives to exports of low import content.
§ Mr. ErrollOur need is to increase exports of every kind since they all contribute to our overseas earnings. The Government's services are therefore available to all exporters alike. Even if it were practicable it would not be useful to differentiate between them according to the import-content of their products.
