HC Deb 04 March 1963 vol 673 cc6-7W
53. Mr. Swingler

asked the Lord Privy Seal, in view of Her Majesty's Government's opposition to the manufacture, possession and control of nuclear weapons by Germany, what safeguards he is proposing in discussions about putting a nuclear force under the North Atlantic Treaty Council which would eliminate the possibility of de facto German control of nuclear forces.

Mr. Smithers

I have nothing to add to my right hon. Friend's reply of 11th February to the hon. Gentlemen the Members for Salford, East (Mr. Frank Allaun) and Newcastle-under-Lyme (Mr. Swingler).
