§ Mr. Delargyasked the Minister of Transport if he will give an approximate date on which roadworks will begin on the North Orbital Road which will form part of the approach to the Purfleet-Dartford Tunnel.
§ Mr. MarplesThe section of the North Orbital Road between A.13 and A.12 will be dealt with first, but I cannot say when it will be possible to start works. I hope to publish a draft Order under Section 7 of the Highways Act, 1959, in about a year's time. For the rest the position is as stated in my Answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Chigwell (Mr. Biggs-Davison) on 15th May.
