asked the President of the Board of Trade what steps he proposes to take to provide alternative employment for redundant miners in the area of Forth, Lanarkshire.

There are 6,500 new jobs expected to be provided by new projects in North Lanarkshire and Shotts, which should offer employment opportunities for redundant miners in the area of Forth.
