§ 101. Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the award of the Whitley Council relating to nurses' salaries; and when he intends to implement it.
§ Mr. NobleAt their meeting on 25th June the Nurses and Midwives Whitley Council reached full agreement, to be effective from 1st July, and I am approving the agreement. Employing authorities have been given advance notice of the details for the largest groups of staff, and printed copies of the full agreement will be issued tomorrow.
