§ Mr. MarplesThe cost of a changeover to driving on the right would vary according to the length of the preparatory period. Our estimates are at present tentative, but they indicate that the cost might be of the order of £200 million with a five year warning period; £100 million with a 10 year period; and £35 million with a 15 year period.
