asked the President of the Board of Trade what new industry he expects to attract to the Dundee Development Area during the remainder of the present year.

I shall continue to do everything practicable under the Local Employment Acts to encourage the introduction and expansion of industry in the Dundee/Broughty Ferry development district. But I cannot forecast what new industry may be attracted to the area during the remainder of the present year.
