§ 75. Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary for Technical Co-operation what is the present estimate of the total expenditures by 1965 under Section 1(3) of the Commonwealth Teachers Act, 1960; and what steps he is taking to utilise the whole of the funds allocated for the quinquennium.
Mr. CarrHer Majesty's Government undertook to make available up to £6 million for the quinquennium. Present commitments are expected to result in expenditure of at least £5 million. It is desirable at this stage to maintain our uncommitted balance to meet new requirements which may arise in the next two years.
