HC Deb 04 February 1963 vol 671 c1W
3. Mr. Boardman

asked the Minister of Labour what progress he has made in his talks with the National Joint Advisory Council concerning the use of cine-films in the campaign to reduce industrial accidents among young people.

Mr. Hare

The Industrial Safety Sub-Committee of the Council discussed this question last week. Its conclusion, with which I agree, is that in suitable circumstances films can play a useful part in a planned programme of safety training but only as an adjunct to properly organised training on the job.
