asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what use the South-East Regional Hospital Board intend to make of the Kirkcaldy Orthopaedic Hospital when the second extension to Victoria Hospital is completed, in view of the urgency of providing sufficient geriatric beds for the area.

The future use of this hospital is under consideration by the South-Eastern Regional Hospital Board.
