§ 70. Mr. H. Hyndasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will take steps to require water boards to publish their annual accounts in such a way as to be available for public inspection.
§ Mr. CorfieldWater boards subject to district audit are required to make their accounts available for public inspection at the annual audit. Most boards are required to send an annual abstract of accounts to each of the constituent councils. My right hon. Friend is considering whether anything more is needed.
