§ Mr. Beaneyasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs, in view of the fact that the only Government inquiry into the effects of the Rent Act, 1957, related to the spring of 1959 before the three-year agreements had come to an end, whether he will now undertake a further inquiry into the effects of the Act and publish the results as soon as possible.
§ Sir K. JosephI am in course of reviewing the range of statistical and other information on housing available to my Department and the possible need for improvements. This review includes the question of information relating to privately-rented houses.
