§ Mr. Beaneyasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs, in view of the evidence in the recent London County Council survey of London's homeless that many tenants have been illegally evicted from protected tenancies, while others have been offered unprotected tenancies in exchange and then evicted from these, what plan he has to ensure by suitable publicity that tenants as a whole are better acquainted with their legal rights.
§ Sir K. JosephLocal authorities and Citizens' Advice Bureaux are always ready to advise tenants; the trouble is that not all tenants seek advice when they need it. I will certainly consider more publicity, but it will be appreciated that there has already been an enormous amount.
