§ 72. Mr. Chapmanasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what further work has been done since July by the West Indies Regional Council of Ministers.
§ Mr. FisherThe Regional Council of Ministers has held one further meeting in Barbados between 6th and 8th October. In the absence of a representative from Grenada the five representatives of the territories whose legislatures had not already accepted the White Paper30W reaffirmed their Governments' support for the proposed new Federation. Subsequently the full Council considered a number of questions of detail relating to the control and financing of regional services to replace those previously the responsibility of the Federal Government.
