§ Commander Courtneyasked the Lord Privy Seal if he will give the numbers of Foreign Service personnel who have left the staff of British missions in Communist-controlled countries since 1st January, 1949, before the expiration of their normal term of duty for reasons under the following headings, namely, misconduct, unsuitability, health or family reasons, and required for duty elsewhere, respectively.

I will write to my hon. and gallant Friend as soon as the information is obtained.
