asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will make a statement on the disposal of the documents impounded by the police at the time of the arrest of William John Christopher Vassall.

In view of the setting up of a Tribunal of Inquiry into this case, I do not think that it would be appropriate for me to make such a statement at the present time.
