§ 33. Mr. Oramasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects to conclude his inquiries into the case of the young man in East Ham about whom he has been in correspondence with the hon. Member for East Ham, South, since 26th August, 1962.
§ Mr. Fletcher-CookeIn view of the special features of this case, the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, at my right hon. Friend's request, arranged for an experienced officer, not previously connected with the case, to make a full investigation. My right hon. Friend expects to receive this officer's report in the near future and we shall consider it without delay.
