§ 38. Mr. Dugdaleasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what steps he is taking to increase the number of houses being built to let at controlled rentals in the county of West Bromwich; and what success these steps are having.
§ Sir K. JosephBoth the council and private builders are active in building houses in West Bromwich. New houses to let are not subject to rent control, whether provided by public authorities or privately, and I am not aware that there is any need of stimulus or help from me.
