HC Deb 12 November 1962 vol 667 c6W
Sir L. Ropner

asked the Minister of Health whether he accepts the recommendations made to him by the subcommittee of the Standing Medical Advisory Committee of the Central Health Services Council, of which Sir Harry Platt was chairman; and whether he will make a statement.

Mr. Powell

I shall shortly be issuing a memorandum to hospital authorities commending the sub-committee's report generally as a basis for planning the development of the accident and emergency services, and giving advice on particular recommendations.
