§ 60. Sir A. V. Harveyasked the Minister of Aviation what steps are being taken to provide light transport aircraft for the Royal Air Force; and on what date Operational Requirement 351 was issued to certain aircraft manufacturers.
§ Mr. Thorneycroft:An order is being placed for a military version of the Avro 748 to meet the requirement for a light cargo aircraft.
As to Operational Requirement 351, I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to the hon. Member for Loughborough (Mr. Cronin) on 26th February, 1962.
