§ Miss PittThe lists as hitherto maintained of patients waiting for tonsil and adenoid operations at hospitals in the Salford Group totalled 541 at 31st March, 1962, compared with 717 a year earlier. About 200 of the former were Salford children. 1,165 operations were performed in 1961, but these include urgent cases not on waiting lists.
