§ Mr. Owenasked the President of the Board of Trade (1) if Her Majesty's Government have ratified and propose to apply the Customs conventions concerning facilities for the importation of goods for display or use at exhibitions, fairs or meetings of 8th June, 1961, made by the Customs Co-operation Council in Brussels; and whether he will make a statement;
(2) if Her Majesty's Government has accepted the Customs Convention on the temporary importation of professional equipment of 8th June, 1961, made by the Customs Co-operation Council in Brussels; and whether he will make a statement.

§ Mr. ErrollBoth Conventions were signed in Brussels on behalf of Her Majesty's Government on 27th February. We expect to deposit instruments of ratification later in the year. The Conventions, which will be published as Command Papers in the near future, enter into force three months after five States have ratified them.
