asked the Minister of Defence if it is now his policy to reduce the number of United States bomber bases in Great Britain; and if he will make a statement.

The deployment of American forces in this country is a matter for the United States Government who naturally consult us as necessary.

The changes announced by the Third Air Force on 23rd March and 20th July are being put into effect.
