asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many persons under the age of 21 years were convicted during the years 1959, 1960 and 1961 for speeding offences in connection with the use of motor cycles.

Statistics compiled on a sampling basis indicate that in England and Wales the figures for 1959 and 1960, in respect of built-up and restricted areas, were 8,567 and 9,325, respectively. Corresponding figures for 1961 are not available.
