Mr. Dribergasked the Secretary of State for War why French paratroops have been invited to train in Great Britain; and, in view of the undesirable character of some of the methods of enforcing order used by these troops, if he will give an assurance that British forces will not be instructed by them in these methods.
§ Mr. ProfumoThe invitation has been issued to our French allies in the normal course of military co-operation. These will be tactical exercises in the field. Nothing else is involved; the second part of the Question does not arise.
