§ 68. Mr. Montgomeryasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what plans his Department has for aiding those areas in north-east England which have suffered considerable damage as a result of the recent gales.
Dr. HillThe statement which I made on 19th February in reply to the hon. Member for Sheffield, Attercliffe (Mr. J. Hynd) will apply equally to authorities in the North-East, so far as help proves to be needed. The information which I have at present suggests that the North-East was fortunately less badly affected than the Sheffield area.
