§ Mr. Dempseyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he expects to receive the report of the Robbins Committee in view of its bearing upon future university institutions; and, in this context, what decision has now been reached by the University Grants Committee about the status of the Glasgow Royal College of Science and Technology.
§ Sir E. BoyleThe Robbins Committee's Report is expected next year. No decision has yet been reached about the future status of the Royal College, but I hope shortly to receive considered advice from the University Grants Committee bearing on this matter.
