asked the Postmaster-General whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table giving up-to-date figures in respect of the outstanding applications for telephones in the London telephone service area for business, residence, and the total outstanding for all purposes, the net change during January and the number outstanding at the end of the previous month.

these shortages and the inconvenience they have caused. The supply position generally is good, and I hope that the arrangements made to step up the rate of supply will result in a progressive improvement.
