HC Deb 13 February 1962 vol 653 c119W
30. Mr. Lipton

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer which Ministers and Government Departments are currently engaged in negotiating with the German Government about the cost of British forces in Germany; who is co-ordinating these negotiations; and when they are likely to be completed.

Mr. Selwyn Lloyd

My right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary is in charge of the British delegation and he is assisted by officials of the Treasury, Foreign Office, Ministry of Defence and Bank of England. I cannot yet say when the talks with the German Government will be completed.
