§ Mr. Russellasked the Minister of Public Building and Works if he is aware that northbound traffic often has difficulty in emerging from Spur Road, St. James's Park, owing to the constant stream of traffic from The Mall to Buckingham Palace Road, and that sometimes a stationary column of traffic blocks the exit; and what plans he has for removing these difficulties.
Mr. SharpiesWe are aware that there is some congestion at this point, mainly at the rush hours, and we are consulting the Ministry of Transport about methods of easing the congestion without detriment to the amenities of the Park.
