HC Deb 21 December 1962 vol 669 c267W
Dr. Bennett

asked the Minister of [lousing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs when he expects the Local Government Boundary Commission to consider the future shape of local government in South-East Hampshire.

Sir K. Joseph

The Local Government Commission for England is engaged on five major reviews which will take them some time to complete. In addition it has just begun its reviews of the North-West. Having regard to the amount of work involved in all this I do not expect that the Commission will be able to start any new reviews before 1964.
