§ Mr. Mitchisonasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether he is aware that in July, 1960, the town map of Kettering was submitted for modification or approval and that in June, 1962, the information required for that purpose was almost complete; and when he now expects to publish his proposed modifications and to give his final decision.

§ Sir K. JosephMy proposed modifications were sent in draft to the Northamptonshire County Council last August and were discussed in October with its officers. I expect shortly to receive detailed drawings of the areas involved and my proposed modifications will then be published at once. There may then be objections, which may have to go to further public inquiry and I cannot therefore say when I shall be able to give my final decision.
